has mac ppc support been dropped?

the 1.6.x branch only has intel binaries , which suxxx

wondering if PPC architecture was dropped, or if we might see a 1.6 RC / final on the platform

Hi,

I'm told that building for ppc is a lot of work for people working on intel macs so we tend not to have time to do them for beta releases where there can be a new release every few weeks sometimes. For the final version of 1.6.0 we are hoping to be able to build a ppc version.

Man I hope so!!! Don't have an intel mac yet, but this app would be great on my ppc mac.

Just posted this in the troubleshooting section as well. The PPC build of 1.6.0 is nearly ready and will be available via our website within a day or two.

please, any news... at least you could make older ppc versions available.. come on, i had to download a cracked version of traktor 3 ffs when id much rather be using mixxx for my set this week
