Maybe there's something messed up in your configuration file...try renaming your ~/.mixxx directory and run Mixxx again.

Double-check that you have moved the app-store version ( Mixxx 1.9.1) into the trash and have really installed Mixxx 1.10 from http://downloads.mixxx.org/mixxx-1.10.0/mixxx-1.10.0-macintel32.dmg.

Double-click the Mixxx 1.10 DMG archive and drag-n-drop the Mixxx application bundle into the Applications folder. Then eject the Mixxx DMG archive and run Mixxx from within your Applications folder.

Hi all.

I would like to know if Traktor timecode vinyls MKII are supported. NI said that these ones are the same as "classic" ones.
Because, currently, I've old Traktor FS vinyls which are not functionnal with Mixxx, and Traktor "classic" timecode vinyls seems to be unavailable in shops (at least in France).

Thanks for your answer.

Traktor MK2 time code does work with Mixxx but it plays the songs a bit too fast, since the carrier wave is 400Hz higher than the classic Traktor records. Serato Scratch Live time code records are the recommended ones at this time in any case.

Hi.

Before buying Serato vinyles, I tried my old Final Scratch vinyles (bundled in a Final Scratch 2), and I was surprised because vinyl control was working but the sound was played at half tempo.
Is it normal because Mixxx doesn't support these vinyles ?
Or is it a bug and, in this case, I will verify and open a bug ticket ?
I tested with Mixxx 1.10 64 bits on Windows 7 64 bits.

Thanks a lot.

Hi All,

I had the same problem of zinalias with the 1.10 universal dmg, but with the 32 bit dmg the timecode is supported, though as already mentioned here with the traktor mk2 records it plays way too fast
