songs playing as static

Everytime I load a song to a deck it doesnt show any wave lengths but just a thick bar and when I click play its just static. Ive tried reloading my library but nothing seems to work. I know the mp3 files arnt corrupted because they still work on other programs. Anyone know how to help me?

I'm having the SAME. EXACT. PROBLEM. And can not figure out what's wrong. If you have figured out how to fix this, could you please reply & let me know? Cause this is getting on my nerves. Hahahah.

What OS are you on and what version of Mixxx are you using?
