How to set up Maya 44 USB on Win 7 and a few bugs to report

First off Hello everyone this is my first post on your forum!

I've managed to set up Maya 44 to use with mixxx on Win 7 using decks with timecode and output to mixer here's how i did it step by step

1)Make sure Maya 44 is plugged in. Left Deck should be plugged into analog in 1 & 2 and Right deck should be plugged into analog in 3 & 4. Analog out 1 & 2 should go to mixer channel for left deck and analog out 3 & 4 should goto mixer channel for right deck. All the outs should go to line level inputs on mixer

2)Where you downloaded the maya drivers on your pc goto the unzipped folder, right click on Maya44Panel and pin it to taskbar

3)click the pinned Maya44Panel and the control panel comes up.Make sure Gang is ticked on all. Mute all Monitor (in 1+2 & in 3+4). Bring the volume all the way down on input but DON'T mute it! Put output all the way up. you can close this now

4)Open Mixxx and go to options>preferences>Sound Hardware.Sound API should be on ASIO. Sample rate 44100 and as i got a brand new laptop i can run megalow latency but set to what your laptop can handle.

5)On output tab Master and Headphones should be None while deck one should be Maya 44 ASIO channels 1&2 and deck two should be maya 44 ASIO channels 3+4.

6)On Input tab Vinyl control 1 should be Maya 44 ASIO channels 1&2 and Vinyl control 2 should be Maya 44 ASIO channels 3&4

7)Go to Vinyl control on left hand menu bar. Set deck 1 & 2 to what ever control setup your using

8)Load a song into mix make sure vinyl control is enabled press play and viola you have control!

These bugs i've noticed while trying to set up the program;

1)My audio input settings save BUT everytime i restart the program i have to enable vinyl control, surely all last settings should be saved?

2)Using my cdj's on either absolute or relative when i press cue the song doesn't return to beginning it pauses it like i would be using vinyl. does the program not realise the control signal has returned to the beginning?

3)I noticed alot of wow and flutter and pitch was very unstable not holding to what it was set at. I also noticed the play pause button on laptop screen was looking like i was pressing it randomly. this was using a serato control cd. i've yet to try it on traktor vinyl as i'm waiting for replacements to come but will let you know if same thing happens.

4)It did lock up on me once and threw a fatal error. Does mixxx log these and if so where will i find it so i can send it to you?

Apart from those things it's quite polished program. I'm gonna continue using cd's or traktor while i play out but if these issues could be resolved i would be able to use mixxx. I need the timecode control to be spot on as i like being able to play cd's and vinyl aswell.
