mixxx won't load my itune tracks

everytime I tried to load a itunes track on mixxx1.8.0 beta2 i get a warning that says "Can't load track". The itune tracks are loaded in the library of the mixxx 1.8.0, but every time I try to load a track (drag or right click on player one or two. I get the can't load track warning. Please help!

Are you sure they a not DRM protected aac files (downloaded from Itunes)?

Are your tracks perhaps in MP4/AAC format ( = default iTunes format ) ?
Mixxx can currently read: Ogg Vorbis, MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF.

I am having the same problem, it won't read it, even though I downloaded 1.7.2, then read the post about needing to get 1.8 beta 2 for Mac OsX, and it still won't read... getting antsy yo! Please help if you can

If your files are in M4A/AAC format, you need to download the M4A plugin for Mixxx from somewhere or build it.

I'm not Garth, if you're talking to me. But here are instructions for building Mixxx: http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php#build_mixxx
Just make sure you build with the m4a=1 flag and the plugin will be built as well.
