os x 10.4.11 macbook rev 1 2ghz

i click on the downloaded "mixxx-1.6.0-macintel-tiger.dmg.bz2" file, it expands to a file called "mixxx-1.6.0-macintel-tiger.dmg.bz2.cpgz".
i click on this archive and it expands and makes another file with the same name as the original download, only finder renames it with a number of course, so as not to overwrite the original. so i get "mixxx-1.6.0-macintel-tiger.dmg 2.bz2".
clicking on that file opens up and deposits another .cpgz file: "mixxx-1.6.0-macintel-tiger.dmg 2.bz2.cpgz" you get the idea. and so on until infinity. late or early april fool?
i downloaded and tested the file twice, to make sure i wasn't going mad.

I found out Safari does strange things when accessing .dmg files from our webserver. I've made a correction and if you download the file again, you shouldn't have this problem.
