When will Itunes perchased songs be loadable?????

O.k So my vinyl is gone and Im happy that I can buy songs one by one to support the artist but........

Does anyone know when we will be able to play these songs without the hassle of burning and importing as mp3?? its really bugging me. I think serrato is the only software that allows protected files to play, when will everyone else catch on??? Will mixx eventually allow protected songs to be played? I mean I bought them fair and square shouldnt we be able to play them with a good concience??

As soon as you buy a DRM free song from itunes or find a prog to remove the DRM code on the mp3 file. Otherwise, won't happen.

Technically we could do what Serato (presumably) do and decode aac via quicktime. But this is kind of a hassle technically and probably not very platform independent. We may well do this one day as we want to be able to decode aac at some point anyway but there may turn out to be easier ways to do that.
