I've got Mixxx all setup but when I try and broadcast it tells me that I must download libmp3lame. When I try and download the 32 bit one the link is expired.

I have installed that but it's saying that I still need Lame. I'm not sure what else I can do? Everything seems to be set up right but when I click enable live broadcasting it says, "Mixxx cannot record or stream in MP3 without the MP3 encoder "lame"." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please include the following information in your post about your Mixxx setup:
* Your operating system (platform, version number)
* What version of Mixxx you're running
* What version of Lame did you install exactly, Intel or PowerPC?

Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Mixxx 1.10 for Mac OS X 10.5+ (Intel)
Lame 3.98.4 for 32-bit Intel processor

Everything runs fine it just won't let me broadcast. I've got all the settings (password etc.) setup right. Thanks for your help.

I guess you restarted Mixxx already after installing Lame...
And you still get the "Mixxx cannot record or stream in MP3 without the MP3 encoder "lame".." error message?

Please check if Lame is installed correctly.
Open in FINDER->Go->Go to Folder (ShiFt+CMD+G) , then put the path to lame in the text input field

Another finder window should open with libmp3lame.dylib inside.

When I do that it pops up, "The folder “lib” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents."

Looks like you work with an user account with restricted rights on this computer. Probably Mixxx can`t access Lame because of this.
But you have the admin password, right? Otherwise you wont have be able to install lame. Have in look in MacOS System Preferences->System->Accounts. Any other accounts there, maybe you work under a guest account?

I'm set as the Admin. After that window pops up it actually says that "The folder can't be found."

Didn`t you say you downloaded and installed Lame already?

Anyway,to activate MP3 streaming/recording on Mac OSX, the following steps are necessary:
*Download LAME 3.98.4 Intel (OS X 10.5+ 32-bit & 64-bit) or LAME 3.98.4 PowerPC (OS X 10.5 32-bit)
*Unpack & install the archive

Cause you are on MacOS 10.6.8 which is not available for PowerPC choose LAME 3.98.4 Intel
