MIDI MAPPING WIZARD NOT WORKING

Hello, I own a gemini cntrl-2 dj controller. I pictured myself plugging it in, selecting the midi map for it from a list of choices, and everything working. But unfortunately thats not the case. I have tried the midi mapping wizard, but I just get an error noise when hit the space bar. I own a mac by the way. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Which version of Mixxx are you using? And I think the space bar functionality is broken in 1.10.x. Try clicking Next with the mouse.

Yeah, I downloaded 1.10 too, same problem with spacebar for my ubuntu distro Why????

I went to preferences sound and clicked on input, to let the computer know what it was supposed to talke to.. Hopefully you will see your controller popping up there as an option, choose that, then go back to the setup MIDI wizzzard.. Hopefully that will work.
