Shortcut to play sampler

I have my name drop assigned to a sampler, is there a keyboard shortcut to play that sampler? I can't seem to find the shortcut on the mixxx manual nor can I find a way to edit my keyboard mapping to accomodate it, there is no "play sampler" option listed as a control here http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/midi_controller_mapping_file_format#ui_midi_controls_and_names

Any Ideas?

Its just like for the regular decks, you only have to use [SamplerX] instead of [ChannelX] in the keyboard configuration file Standard.kbd.cfg

Example for Sampler#1

hotcue_4_activate v


Instead using the play button for your name drop, you can also use hotcues in the sampler. This way you could assign 4 drops to one track.

Perfect, thanks! Now that makes me wonder, is there a way to load a specific file to a sampler right when mixxx starts?

Have a look at the Mixxx command line options, specifically the "filename" option.

It loads the specified music file at start-up (of the types Mixxx supports.) Have not tried if it works for samplers too, might be worth a try.
