I uploaded dj2go3.xlm and dj2go3.js last night. I think we're getting closer to the vinyl feel actually. I think the speed (and subsequent pitch) aspect is almost spot-on for a "vinyl feel." It would be nice if you could get a second opinion though (*cough* *cough* tboy) apart from my own, as it has been a while since I have been behind turn tables. I just wish the response could be a little "tighter" so-to-speak. Sadly I think that's probably an inherent "problem" with the overall interface (and not one that scripting could necessarily fix). Overall I'm very satisfied with this setup.

The enter button still triggers the low pass on deck a... Not that it's a -problem-... I actually am starting to enjoy that feature (I almost wish the back button would also trigger LP on deck b lol). I just wanted to point that out because you mentioned wanting to submit the .xml and .js to mixxx... As a part of their general practice, they won't post it unless it's 100% functional as it should be (in theory anyhow). Speaking of getting things functioning, do you plan to tackle the (+) and (-) pitch buttons on deck a and b eventually?

On a side note, I tested it with 1.10.0 beta last night. Still works great. Though my beta test was brief, everything seems to be stable. I want to test an hour long set on it (while using my VST being controlled by a midi controller) to see if it will crash (like it did with 1.9.2). In regards to 1.10.0, the sound quality is notably improved! Listening to my 24-bit .wav tracks through my Sennheiser HD-280 pro headphones, you can tell a notable difference in sound quality. I look forward to when they release a stable 1.10... Though I am going to set how stable it is and I might use it for my next gig on 12/22; though I wouldn't recommend anyone else doing that necessarily. I will have to do further test to determine if this is possible, but the initial test runs were promising.

Lastly, is there anything else I can do to be of service, aside from testing the scripts? as mentioned I personally really appreciate your efforts. So if there is anything I can do, let me know.

Cheers.

Well aside from testing I guess you could provide feedback ......jk
Really I could use some help finding out the values of the pitch bend buttons I have planes for them as well as the back button
Sorry about the joke If you find it really mean in a little bit of a bad mood trying to find the values of the pitch bend buttons it is a lot harder then u would think
What else

Oh yeah if anyone can give me there thoughts on a some things they would like to see on the lpd8 part then I would be all for adding it at that point I'll startup a dj2go and lpd8 topic
Me on a little rant here but it's kinda on topic and that is that I think that having the dj2go and the lpd8together as a pack would be a good idea if mixxx gets a built in sound effect abilities

haha well sorry i didnt mean to "press your buttons" (no pun intended) on a sore subject or anything. youre right it is rather difficult to figure out the midi data on that one. i figured it acted similar to a pitch wheel (14 / 16-bit integer) with 'note off' being 0x2000. so after doing a manual search of +14000 to 0 then to -16000 (which took a while btw) i couldnt seem to find the proper midi data value. i will continue dabbling with it though. im aware that -if- my assumptions are -remotely correct- then i will have to check from (roughly) -30000 to 0/2000 to (roughly)+34000 and thus im not even half way with my manual check (gah! >_<).

one thing that you might be able to fix is the pitch slider. i noticed the controller; when its on 0, mix is at -0.16. so the pitch and bpms are always a little off if youre not aware of the fact that the pitch slider has to be slightly off set towards +%. in the software, its off quite literally one notch.

I personally think it's a great idea...

I'm still trying to figure it out the ol' fashion way... still no success... Still have a ways to go.

Additionally I am planning on sending numark tech support some hate mail... well... Not hate mail... just "gimme yo specs or I'll slappa bitch" type mail... or something... I dunno. I'm sure they won't be helpful, but it's worth a shot.

U mad ? ... Jk but it is a pain in the but is it not I still have not found the value of the pitch bend

On a side note I got my grad ring last week and a bearhinger 502audio mixer so yeah my mood is better

Also it will be nice if the tec support does give you the values

And on another side note I seem to reply on my iPod more then my laptop
