Problem with search

Postby mangelasakis » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:48 pm

Hi sorry for my English.I have upgraded the mixxx at 1.9.2 and at 10.0.1 version at ubuntu 11.10 and when I search with 1A or 2A or 3A or 4A there are no results. But between 5A and 12A I have normaly results. The "1A ,5A, 6A... " is the key of the tracks.

Where is the key stored in your metadata tags? Is it appended to the artist/album/title fields or is it in the actual key fields? (For ID3 on MP3s this would be the TKEY field).

the key details are in the file name. With version 1.9.0 I had installed the ubuntu software center I had no problem ...The problem appeared after I upgraded from version 1.9.0 to version 1.9.2 and still exists in 1.10.

Can someone confirm if the problem is generic or if the front just me? Do I report the problem to the launchpad or not?

If the keys are in the filename, then yes it's a bug that searching for them doesn't work.

yes, the key is in the file name and in the comments field too... I'll try with debian and windows because I think that the problem may come from the compiler.. Sorry for my english again :( I am form Greece and I learn now....

There is still a serious bug. The mixxx does not import all mp3 files in the library. Perhaps this is related to the bug here and I mention this in the same section.
