Numark N4 Mapping

Hey guys,
is there anyone who owns a numark n4 controller and mapped it for mixxx?
if so, could you please upload the mapping? that would be awsome! I don't really know how to do this on my own...
mixxx is my favourite program because it runs like butter on my netbook thats why i'm looking forward to the mappings.

Yes, I do, I'll upload them tonight.

The only trouble I'm having is with the LED's. I can make them all turn on and off, but not individually. with the following (0xB0, 0x39, 0x7F)

I wonder if it's because the unit is 14bit? if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. FYI 0x90 and 0x80 doesn't work

ok, first go added. it will control most of Mixxx. you need to extract and copy the files to the midi folder of Mixxx. For Linux it's /usr/local/share/mixxx/midi

I'll get some better controls for the sampler volumes when I get some time, at the moment they are either on or off.

Like I said before, no LED's, so you won't know when scratching is enabled so be careful.

The rest should work fine.

Another update.

The device is hard coded to only allow one head cue button active at a time. I've also made the device light up on initialisation so you can use it in the dark.

okay, your mapping is great so far =)
all the main features are nice included, can you try to map the effect potis to the flanger intensity and delay options? this is the only thing i missed so far as i tested.
but anyway awesome job you did... thank you very very much!!!

Excellent!! I just bought the same controller, wildly hoping there would be something to drive it via linux... But now that I managed to put it in the usr/mixxx folder(midi) how do I get it up and running????

Thanks for the N4 preset -- I just added it to our source repo so it'll be included in Mixxx 1.11.0 final (it didn't make it into the beta release).

Please post here if you have a new version and I'll update it.

Yeah!! Big ups for making the mapping!! I forget to say!!! Great:) I still have not found out entirely all of the features here... Does it make possible to play from all four channels for example? And I probably mistook some of the buttons and stuff when dialing in the device.
But yeah, thanks for doing this, greatly appriciated!
