usb sound card. the sound is not clar and loud

hii i am using ubantu 11.10 and a usb sound card for mixxing songs with mixx.
i am not able to here the sound played on the other deck it is not clear and loud.....
In windows using the same usb sound card the sound is clear and loud pls help me through this]

Try increasing the latency setting in Mixxx on the OS where you see the problem.
