I've tried quickly to run the wizard on my Traktor Kontrol X1 (mixxx 1.10, mac os x lion), it seems that it works, it catches the midi commands but then in the end when I try to use the controller, nothing works, only the track selection knobs kinda work (though they work wrongly).

I noticed that in the wizard generated file the order of the tags is different from what specified in http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/midi_con ... ile_format

In my output file, only the first midi command follows the order group, key, status, midino. From the second control onwards the file follows the order status, midino, group key. Does this play any role for mixxx when parsing the file?

I tried the mapping that I found here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1966
There the file format is the same like the one generated by the mixxx wizard. Still no way to make it work. Only the two knobs for the track selection work.

Anyone any ideas on how to make the X1 work with mixxx?

Just to confirm, have you load the controller template NCC file in the Native Instruments controller editor program?
