Only half of each track plays

Postby dpollock » Mon May 07, 2012 2:32 pm

I have loaded a number of files in the system, and when I play them, it only plays half the length of the track and stops. The waveform showing in the play window shows only half of the track as well. I have confirmed that actual length of each outside of Mixxx is twice what Mixxx is showing. Pardon me if I missing something obvious as I am new to the software, but why is it only playing half my track?

Does this happen with all files or just some? What file type, sample rate, and # of channels are the affected files?

Thanks for the reply. The original files were wave files at 48, stereo channels. But since this post, I converted them to AIFF, and that seems to have fixed the problem. Why would plain wave files do this?

This was a bug (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/908477 ) that we fixed. Could you try out the 1.11 alpha 2 build (see here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3678 ) and confirm that it's fixed?
