vinyl control audio interface?

... the audio 8 dj. can anyone help in recommending a suitable one for mixxx on linux please? (wanting to interface with 2 technics sl1210 decks, a vestax mixer and will be using either serato or traktor time coded vinyls) hope you can help or point me in the right direction if i'm missing the obvious! ...

I need a new midi controller

im looking into buying a vestax vci-300 (integrated sound card!), but as i cant find any info on using this device in linux id like to ask here.
is it fully usb compliant?
is there a map file for mixxx?
has anybody tried using it in linux?

I have just ordered a VCI-100 and a M-Audio usb card
so we'll see how it is going to work...

Drop this in your "mixxx/midi" folder (location depends on your OS), and you should be good to go. This was added just after the beta 3 release, so it'll be bundled with our next one. :)

soundcard advices?

I'm looking to plug my turntables into an external soundcard then from the soundcard going into my mixer (Vestax PCV 275) and running mixxx on the computer of course :)

Which good soundcard would you guys recommand for that?

What hardware to buy?

Hi,

I have such hardware:

- Technics 1200s MK2
- VMC-002xl(http://www.digitalreaction.co.uk/vestax ... 8089-p.asp)
- Laptop(i just bought a new one but it doesnt have a soundcard with sound in.)

what other hardware would i need to buy to use your program?
