Vestax VCI-100 support? xml map file anywhere?

Hallo everyone,
I am happy I have discovered Mixxx because I love playing tech-house and I don't like M$ ;)

I am just confused about one thing. On the "Hardware Compatibility" page I've read that Mixxx supports
Vestax VCI-100, wich I took for granted. But when i accidently looked at device map in the "preferences"
of the Mixxx i have discovered that Vestax VCI-100 is not in the list.
Then, after I carefully read "Hardware Compatibility" page again I realised that anyone can update the page.
Then, I have searched for the Vestax VCI-100 patch but with no luck...

So, PLEASE, if anyone know anything about this I would appreciate some feedback. TIA!

However, if no feedback occurs, I am willing to write xml map, of course, with your help people.
as soon as I bye one :D (very soon)

But I need to know is this possible? I mean, is it even possible to map Vestax VCI-100?

Kind regards, Filip

http://mixxx.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc ... 0.midi.xml

Drop this in your "mixxx/midi" folder (location depends on your OS), and you should be good to go. This was added just after the beta 3 release, so it'll be bundled with our next one. :)

Hallo,
Vestax & Mixxx are working quite fine with the mapping downloaded from the link you supplid above Albert, thnx!

However, M-Audio MobilePre Usb, does not work properly out of the box. (kernel 2.6.24-686-aw)
I can "see" only one channel from the mixxx or any other software.
So when I select that channel it sends signal to both audio-out channels on the soundcard.

Searched for some guideing on the web but with no major succes.
I am busy right now with some work but when I am done with it I will try to configure soundcard properly.

Greets!
