Okay -- tell me if this is too cool --

I've got a VIDEO!

As I've said in the past, I actually help a car show host, providing music and actually being part-time DJ at his shows. In this video, the host is actually doing the filming. You'll get to see a few of the classic cars in the area (uh, that 37 Chevrolet looks like a Hudson, doesn't it?). This was actually taken at a show in Arcadia, Florida, a couple weeks ago. At the very end there's a shot of me, inside the trailer, spinning the music -- yes, with MIXXX at work. My wife was sitting next to me. ... tQ8i48U9Dg

This is my setup.
I tried to keep it minimalist and on a budget.
In place of the Behringer I use a Logitech Bluetooth Adapter when at home.

Sony VAIO SVE15124CXS laptop
2 Numark TTX turntables
Numark M101 mixer
Electrix EBOX-44 soundcard
2 Serato control vinyls

And tons of classic Hip-Hop vinyl ripped to MP3 to add to the wall of vinyl behind me.

When I mix other genres, like House, modern "club" music, or whatever, for some reason I prefer just clicking the keys on the keyboard to control everything.

But when I play Hip-Hop, I gotta have the vinyl control.
